The Sahyoun family has been in the building industry since 1968 and so it was no surprise that the youngest son, Jeffrey, followed in the family tradition, qualifying as a builder in 1993. Jeffrey Sahyoun took the hard-won wisdom from a successful family construction business and combined it with the aesthetic innovations and technological advances of the modern industry.
Bringing together a diverse team of experts chosen from his wide experience, Sahyoun formed Jasara Constructions. His passion for the work and for the people involved guarantees projects of the highest standard and relationships that last. To this day, although projects are allocated to a site supervisor, every job is overseen by Sahyoun. To us, each project is treated as if it’s the only one. Attention to detail and client focus has led to a very high rate of return customers. This is doing business the way the Sahyoun family has always done it.

We specialise in highrise residential developments, lowrise residential developments and commercial developments, and design and construct projects. Jeff comes from a family of builders and the passion for quality construction and development runs strongly through him. In founding Jasara, Jeff took a lifetime of experience and transformed it into a company which is now a national industry leader. But even while maintaining a business on the forefront of modern construction, Jeff kept the spirit of the family business, putting people first and leading by example. He is a hands-on director with a comprehensive knowledge of building, project management, and development.
To this day, while site managers are allocated for each job, Jeffrey oversees every project that is taken on. He upholds a personal approach to every project, working and talking closely with tradespeople, subcontractors, and suppliers—the way the Sahyoun family has always done it. He is a dynamic and successful developer, completing over $500 million worth of projects in his own right. Specialising in multi-storey residential and commercial projects, he has large and varied portfolio of building projects within the Sydney Metro area.
Jasara Construction was founded by Jim Wehbe and myself in 2005. It was initially established to tender for government contracts. It has since developed partnerships and long term clientele through Joint venture partnerships and private developments. It has continued to be a successful growing company from Building and Developing.
The challenges and relationships we have developed over the years which has enabled us to grow and retain our clientele.
The difference is we believe every staff member is a partner and a big part of the vision of Jasara in its long term planning and growth.
The current project we have with Homicide Victims’ Support Group – HVSG. We are the project managers and builders and will be constructing residential trauma centre for the innocent victims (aged 3 to 18) of homicide.
I would like Jasara to retain staff members and see them grow in the company and assist the growth of the company with the aim of being one of the leading construction firms in Australia.
Trained as a carpenter, Tony brings a strong practical foundation and deep understanding of construction to his role as Operations Manager. His hands-on experience enables him to effectively oversee projects through all stages of delivery, ensuring works are carried out efficiently, safely, and to the highest standard.
Tony maintains a strong focus on health and safety, consistently upholding best-practice regulations across all sites. He works proactively with safety groups, site teams, and subcontractors to foster a culture of accountability and awareness, creating productive, well-managed, and hazard-free work environments.
Highly solutions-focused, Tony has a proven ability to identify and resolve potential issues before they impact the schedule or quality. He communicates clearly and confidently with construction teams, consultants, and stakeholders, ensuring alignment and smooth coordination across all aspects of project execution.
Tony places significant value on building long-term relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. Known for his reliability, work ethic, and leadership by example, he contributes to a collaborative project environment where quality outcomes and strong partnerships are consistently achieved.
Michael leads development strategy and delivery operations across Jasara Constructions, bringing over 50 years of industry experience across both government infrastructure and private sector development. He provides strong commercial, planning, and project leadership from acquisition through to completion.
Throughout his career, Michael has overseen feasibility assessments, design management, procurement strategy, and delivery of complex, large-scale developments across Australia. His portfolio spans hospitals, high-rise commercial towers, five-star hotels, luxury residential developments, public buildings, and major civil infrastructure projects.
He is highly regarded for his expertise in authority approvals, stakeholder engagement, and navigating complex regulatory environments. Michael has led Managing Contractor and ECI procurement processes, overseen tender strategies for state and federal projects, and implemented pre-construction de-risking strategies to optimise programme certainty and commercial outcomes.
His oversight extends across the full development lifecycle, including site acquisition, feasibility modelling, planning approvals, design leadership, contract administration, construction oversight, and commissioning, ensuring each project is strategically positioned for delivery excellence and long-term value creation.
Joseph supports the development team across planning coordination, consultant management, and project delivery strategy. He assists in managing council submissions, authority engagement, and statutory approvals while coordinating documentation between architects, engineers, and certifiers.
Working closely with the Head of Development, Joseph helps drive approval milestones, monitor programme performance, and maintain alignment between planning strategy and commercial objectives.
He holds a Bachelor of Property Economics from the University of Technology Sydney, providing a strong foundation in valuation methodology, feasibility analysis, and development strategy.
Sandy leads all external authority liaison and statutory coordination across Jasara Constructions. She manages engagement with Council, Endeavour Energy, Sydney Water, and other regulatory bodies to secure approvals, service connections, and compliance milestones.
Her role ensures documentation accuracy, regulatory alignment, and efficient progression through authority processes. Sandy works closely with consultants and internal project teams to maintain programme momentum and minimise approval risk.
She holds a Certificate IV in Business Administration from the University of Western Sydney, underpinning her structured and detail-oriented approach to authority coordination and regulatory management.
Joseph leads construction operations across Jasara Constructions, bringing over 25 years of practical and theoretical construction experience to the role. He upholds rigorous standards in quality control, safety management, programme delivery, and subcontractor performance, while overseeing site teams and consultant coordination to ensure projects are delivered in line with design intent and commercial objectives.
With a strong technical and trade foundation, Joseph applies a disciplined and solutions-focused approach to construction management. He holds a Bachelor of Science majoring in Chemistry, a Certificate IV in Building and Construction, and a Certificate III in Carpentry, combining academic knowledge with hands-on site expertise. This breadth of experience enables him to manage complex construction processes with precision and consistency.
Mahnoor manages end-to-end project delivery across the portfolio, overseeing programme control, consultant coordination, cost monitoring, and construction performance. She plays a key role in aligning project execution with commercial objectives while maintaining quality and programme integrity.
Her experience spans consultant coordination, contractor management, procurement oversight, and financial reporting, ensuring developments progress efficiently from pre-construction through to completion.
Mahnoor holds a Bachelor of Construction Management (Honours) from Western Sydney University, equipping her with strong expertise in construction methodology, cost management, contract administration, and project planning.
Isabella supports day-to-day delivery across Jasara Constructions active developments, coordinating consultant documentation, programme tracking, procurement processes, and site communication. She plays an integral role in maintaining alignment between design intent, construction progress, and financial performance.
In addition to her project coordination responsibilities, Isabella contributes to financial reporting, cost monitoring, and budget administration across the portfolio, supporting disciplined commercial oversight.
She is currently undertaking a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) at the University of Sydney, further strengthening her technical, analytical, and financial capabilities within the development and construction sector.
Ryan leads estimating, cost planning, and feasibility modelling across Jasara Constructions. He prepares detailed project budgets, financial forecasts, and structured cost analyses to support acquisition decisions and inform delivery strategy. His disciplined approach ensures robust cost control from early feasibility through to construction completion.
Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Quantity Surveying and a Diploma in Quantity Surveying, providing a strong technical foundation in cost management, contract administration, and financial control.
He is an Affiliate Member of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (AIQS), reflecting his commitment to professional standards and best-practice quantity surveying.
Jessica plays a central leadership role in the day-to-day operations of Jasara Constructions, working closely with the CEO to ensure seamless coordination across development, capital, and delivery functions.
She oversees internal team alignment, consultant engagement, programme management, and project workflow from early feasibility through to construction delivery. Her responsibilities span feasibility coordination, rezoning pathways, authority strategy, design team management, commercial tracking, and stakeholder communication.
Acting as an operational bridge across departments, Jessica ensures planning strategy, financial objectives, and construction delivery remain fully integrated. Her ability to manage detail while maintaining oversight of broader objectives makes her instrumental in driving projects forward efficiently and strategically.
